So what do I listen to?

Well, it's pretty varied and the people who know me might be surprised at some of the things I like :)

Influences

Well, I've played the flute in concert band since 4th grade (1992), when I was younger my best friend (who is 2 years older than I) liked Rap for a bit, then there was the whole New Kids on the Block phase, Paula Abdul, BoyzIIMen, etc. I did jazz dance from 3rd grade to 7th grade at a local dance studio too, though I think our teacher snuck in some semi-lyrical stuff (like Elton John's "Can You Feel The Love Tonight?"). My sister is into show tunes/musicals and classical (she's also played the flute since she was in 4th grade in 1988). In 8th grade I had an "interesting" friend who got me more into rock/alternative music, and well... that's me.
