Banana Cookies
1 cup white sugar
3/4 c. margarine
1 cup bananas (3 bananas)
1 tsp. vanilla
1-6 oz. pkg. butterscotch chips
2 eggs
1-1/3 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp soda
pinch salt
Combine the first 6 ingredients thoroughly
before adding the remaining ingredients. Grease and flour pans. Bake cookies
at 375F for 10 minutes or unitl slightly golden brown.
Cracker Jack Cookies
1 cup butter
Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and vanilla.
Mix in other ingredients. Drop by spoonfuls on baking sheet. Bake for 10-12
minutes in 350F oven.
Date-Filled Oatmeal Cookies
1 1/2 cup margarine
Cool dough in refrigerator. Bake at 375 degrees
F for 8-10 minutes.
Filling:
Boil filling ingredients together and cool.
Spread between cookies when cool.
Energy Cookies
1/2 cup shortening
Cream shortening and sugar untio light and
fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Blend in flour, baking soda and salt.
Stir in wheat germ and chocolate chips. Drop by small spoonfuls onto baking
sheets. Bake at 375F for 10-15 minutes. Yield:3 dozens.
