StraightNews "A Letter to You" Dear Friend- I want to emphasize how much I believe in you and your ability to overcome difficulties. If you apply the insights I and others can share, you can make tangible progress in the next few months. You can move towards overcoming the depression, homosexual temptations, isolation and frustrations you many gay and bi people suffer all too much. It will take effort, but don't be discouraged. It's worth it. I write this from first-hand experience. I haven't overcome all of life's challenges, but I have made substantial progress. Before, my life seemed difficult, even hopeless. Now I'm growing spiritually, with increasingly satisfying friendships and more meaningful, fulfilling work. I'm sure you have much to offer. In fact, you have an obligation (smile) to attain you potential. So many others will benefit when you do! It's important for each of us to remember an excellent way to avoid difficulties - working to improve our situation before we feel overwhelmed. There are support groups to help. You can follow those links to meetings in your local area. You can find, as I have, that fellowship is very helpful.
