Update (28/5/05): I've given up on the idea of keeping a personal homepage for now, but I can't bring myself to take it down. It's not easy for me to put aside all the blood, sweat and heart I've put into creating the STS Band site which, as some of you know, has been the centrefold of this site since it was started. Although it's been a number of years since I was actively involved in band, I would jump at the opportunity to work with the percussionists again.
I've been tossing around the idea of getting the band site up and running again. A recent run-in with a current band member made me realise that band life is not so easy to forget. There's so much history which many of the current band members are not aware of. Once in a while, I happen to meet ex-bandmembers from past years and anyone eavesdropping in on our conversations can hear the pride we share for the band and the experiences we went through together. No, it's not so easy to forget. Many of us don't want to forget. And I think, maybe, the newer members would want to remember their history.
But as I'm working now and my webpage skills have somewhat rusted, the ideal set-up would be if someone were to takeover or at least share in the development of the site. As yet, no one has come forward to take over the STS Band site so it's still available for anyone who wants to take over. For now, I'm keeping it on the site as an Archive until I figure out what to do with it.
