2. Claude² Bertier (Bernard¹)⁽⁴⁾ was born in Morhange, France April 18, 1695.⁽⁵⁾ Claude died December 23, 1771 in Nancy, Lorraine, France, at 76 years of age.⁽⁶⁾

He married Anne Briey in Nancy, Lorraine, France, August 12, 1726.⁽⁷⁾ (Additional notes for Anne Briey⁽⁸⁾)

Claude Bertier and Anne Briey had the following child:

+ 3 i. Sébastien Timothée³ Bertier was born January 17, 1733.
