1. TIMOTHY WILLIAMSON was born 1621 in England, and died August 1676 in Killed during "King Phillip's War". He married MARY HOWLAND June 06, 1653 in Marshfield, MA, daughter of ARTHUR HOWLAND and MARGARET WALKER/REED.

Timothy was a Captain in King Philip's War.
Per the Vital Records of Marshfield.
Timothy birth and marriage to Mary. The names of his parents were never known, nor whether he or Mary had other Children than daughter Mary.

From "TIMOTHY WILLIAMSON OF MARSHFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS, AND HIS DESCENDANTS":
"At the outbreak of the trouble with the Indians.... thus, when the call came to the men of Marshfield on 20 June 1676 to bear arms against the hostile red men, Timothy Williamson executed his will and made ready to go. It is not known on what day he was killed, but presumable he fell on the last day of July or on one of the first days of August, perhaps in one of the skirmishes at Bridgewater. He was buried 6 August 1676, in what is called the Cedar Grove Cemetery, at Marshfield,...His will was offered for probate 2 November 1676."

2. MARY WILLIAMSON (TIMOTHY) was born July 07, 1654 in Marshfield, MA, and died 1720 in Little Compton, RI. She married JOSIAH CLOSSON (Source: Marshfield, Mass. Vital Records..) March 10, 1678/79 in Little Compton, RI (Source: Marshfield, Mass. Vital Records.), son of DANIEL CLOSSON and ELIZABETH.

Notes for JOSIAH CLOSSON:
Was a Soldier in King Philip's War, credited to the town of Woburn, MA on 24 June 1676 under Captain Joseph Syll. He was also a garrison of Chelmsford. He was given an assignment of wages on 24 August 1676 to Woburn Town. He return to Woburn and was a taxpayer there after the War.
After the war he moved to Marshfield, MA where he married Mary and where two of his eight children were born. Benjamin Church, the leader of the Colony Forces in the King Philip's War founded Little Compton, RI; then an outpost of Plymouth Colony, Massachusetts. Josiah followed his leader there about 1681-2 where many of the family lived till after the Revolution.
Josiah Closson died interstate in 1698/9. The probate of Bristol County appointed his widow, Mary Closson, Administratrix to administer the Estate in behalf of the minor children. Her Inventory, Bond and Account were filed with the Probate Court at Bristol, Massachusetts.
