I am trying to find the parents of five Bourdeau's, including my ggrandfather Joseph (b. 1853 in New York); his brother Frederick (b. 1841 - Canada); his sister Angeline (b. 1845-Canada); his brother Peter (b. 1847-Canada); and his sister Lavina (b. 1848 Canada). They all went to Wisconsin in the early 1870's, changed their name to Bhirdo. Wondering if there is a connection. They lived in Clinton County, New York in 1870, in Egg Harbor, Wisconsin in 1880.
