Back in 1991, I was at
work and my boss called me to his office and he said
"Here are some papers and if you don't
finish these
papers by the end of the month you are fired." So
I took the papers to my office
and I
thought about
how many days were left in the month. There were only
five. So I got right to work. I noticed there were
500 pieces of paper.I got one done
in four days. Night
came and I dreamed about myself getting fired.
I
woke up and my boss called me and said "Did you get
all those papers done?"NO I said, he said,
"Then you are fired".
So I told my husband and he said "Get a
new job right away. Then I got a call and it was the
Airport and they said, "Would you like to be a
pilot?". I said, "YES". They said, "Come over right
away!"
When she got there she asked where to go. A
worker said, "Go around the corner, get on the
elevator, and go to the top floor. She opened the
door and a guy said "Hello Get on the plane and fly
it way." She said to him, "I don't know how to fly a
plane."He said, "Get in and fly away." She said, "O.K.".She got in the air, and
saw some strange creatures on a cloud.
The
guy said "Go back down to the airport." She said,
"O.K. I will." They said, "You are hired."
She got
home and she told her husband, "They hired me." Then
she went to bed and started to think about what those
strange creatures were in the sky.
She got out of
bed and went to the airport. She got in the airplane
and flew it up to the wierd cloud where the creatures
were. She heard them talking, they said,"Half an hour
until we are going to blow up the world."
She thought if I saved the world and
said it out loud. She started up her jets and it blew up the cloud but not the
creatures. It became a war. They shot the plane and
she came back for revenge. She hit them with her
wing. It cut them in half. She won the war and saved
the world. She got back down to the ground. When she
told her husband he thought she was crazy.
About the AuthorOur
granddaughter,Becca, wrote this fantastic story full
of fantasy and imagination. Becca dedicated this
story to her family.
When Grandma Abbajean and
Grandpa Backtracker read this story, we thought we
were passengers in her plane. We did not fear for our
safety with such a competent pilot.
Abbajean typed
the story up and added illustrations found on the
internet. Becca's "The Great Pilot" can be found on
