BETTY AND DICK plus Cricket, Mouse and Webster

In March 1998, Abbajean and Backtracker found Betty and Dick wintering in Navarre, Florida.

You will never believe what they are doing.! Besides tracking rain and tornadoes, they have a love for all of God's creatures and instead of building an ark, they are building birdhouses of all shapes, sizes and colors.

But when the welcome sign came out and the pelican couldn't find housing, the houses went up for sale.

Here's a sample of Betty's housing available for our bird population. The demand for this type of housing is high and cost of housing is priced according to individual bird's need.

THE FAMILY MEMBERS

If you look in Webster's Dictionary for the definition of "Cricket" and "Mouse", this is what you would find. Webster or better known as "Webbie" was named after Webster's Dictionary because he is a cat of many words.

Webbie is a Himalayan not a dictionary. This is his definition of "Mouse" and Cricket.

Actually Mouse's formal name is C.C.Mouse (stands for Chocolate Chip Mouse) She is a Chocolate Chihuahua. We must mention her sister Candy, our fawn colored Chihuahua.

Cricket is a toy poodle and has all the benefits of being a senior Citizen.

End of May 1999 - Our condolences and heartfelt sympathy goes to this family as Miss Cricket has left and gone over the rainbow bridge. She is now happy chasing butterflies with her new found playmates. She is happy and suffers no more. Cricket will always be one of the wonderful memories packed away for us to bring out every so often when we feel her loss, but the joy she will always add to our life in recollection.Back to Home Page
