The 8th annual reunion of the family and friends of Holland and Lillie (Keen) Fuller will be held September 11, 2004, at 11:00, at the Breaks Interstate Park, Shelter # 2. Bring a covered dish and any old pictures. This reunion is attended by mostly by descendants of the Henderson Fuller family of the Dismal River area. Henderson came to Dismal from Frying Pan in Dickenson County. He was the son of “Big George” and Sarah (Deel) Fuller.

The second annual reunion of the Frederick Stiltner descendants will be held on September ?, 2002 at the Popular Gap Park in Buchanan County. This reunion is a genealogy gathering, to meet and share information.
Descendants of John M & Malissa (Coleman) Stiltner family reunion will be held on September ?, 2002, at the old home place on Dave’s Branch. Dave’s Branch is located behind the Mountain Mission School in Grundy.
The Blair Reunion will be held on Friday and Saturday..Aug.16-17th at the Breaks Interstate Park. Friday is a get together day for people to share information, pictures, stories, etc. with one another while enjoying refreshments at the Rhodedron Lodge in the conference center from 11am-7pm. I will not be able to be there that day. Saturday, the 17th however, I will be present for. This is our BIG DAY..where everyone will come and enjoy music, an auction, food, stories, visiting, games, contests,etc. We will be meeting at the shelter number 6 at 11am and it will run continuously until dusk. We will have catered food available for a minimal fee of 7.00 per person. I hope that I have answered any questions that you might have had regarding this. This reunion is held yearly, on the 3rd Sunday in August, at the Cemetery, which is located at the intersection of Route 638 and 640, on Dismal River. Descendants of Ruel and Catherine (McKinney) Mullins hold a reunion each year on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. This year it will be at the home of Beulah Mullins at Pilgrims Knob. For more information contact Beulah at (504) 259-7323.

The Descendants of Benjamin Wallace COMPTON & Margaret Ann Cecil will hold their Annual Reunion on July 25, 2004 at the Rescue Building on Pump Street, (just behind the court house) in Union, Monroe Co, WV. Benjamin & Margaret were from Buchanan & Tazewell Co, VA. All Compton's are invited as we are all kin in some way or another. This family includes, Ratliff', Cox, Horn, Jackson, Keen, Matney, Cole, Honaker, Yates, Ward & Looney and many others. The doors to the building will be open around 10:00 a.m, (handicap accessible) it is a covered dish luncheon and we will eat around 12:30. So bring your favorite dish & your family and join us. We will have old family pictures & family genealogy so bring along your family history to share with others.
