My parents don't like my boyfriend and don't want me to see him anymore, what should I do? Just because he hangs around with some guys who've been in trouble, they think he's going to get in trouble, too. I tell them he's not like that but they won't listen.

Your parents are crazy. They obviously don't know what true love is. They just want to hold you back and keep you from growing up. You should do whatever you can to see your boyfriend no matter what your parents say. I can tell you some ways to sneak out of the house so that your parents will never know! Your parents love you and want what is best for you. Remember, they aren't disapproving of your boyfriend just to be mean. They believe they have a reason to disapprove. I want you to think about the company your boyfriend keeps. Why does he choose to hang around people who get into trouble? You should think about why you want to date this boy.
Honor your parents by staying away from him. Let him prove himself. If he is truly as wonderful as you think he is then maybe your parents will realize this. |
