The Story
The town where you lived was destroyed by fire following a civil war. You have managed to escape, and have been camping out as refugees in the countryside, with only the things you were able to carry there. You have found enough fresh food to eat but you have no salt. This will be vital if you are to save enough food to last throughout the winter. You have decided to travel to far off ...... to hunt for SALT. You will be leaving the very old and the very young refugees in your camp. Because you may experiences some difficulties on your journey. There will be some preparations to make before you leave.
The Clues
A) You will need a cooking pan to take but you will have to make it. Go into the stores tent where there is everything you need. Show the finished pan to the 'old person' who usually provides food in your camp.
Provided with tin cans, wire and pliers QM gave marks out of 10.
B) The next district has decided to refuse entry to anyone suspected of being a refugee.
You will need forged papers to travel with (one each).
A blackmarketeer on camp has the papers you need but she will charge you a very high price. You had better steal them from his office.
When the papers are ready keep them in your pockets. Find the next clue in the office before you leave.
If caught in tent making documents, payment of biscuits demanded
C) In case you are killed or injured on your journey you must wear an identity disc. You can get these, one each, from your 'hospital property'. Show the finished disc to an elder.

D) You are now ready to set off on your dangerous journey.
Others have been before, so keep your eyes open - start from your main water supply

E) The salt marshes are straight ahead. There are outlaws in this wood. If they hear you coming you will be shot at.

F) You must pay these outlaws to lead you further through this forest.

I) Give the salt to the QM
Next clue handed over
J) Half fill the pan you made with water and put it on the gas/fire for tea. Then count how many biscuits you have left
When the water boils your tasks are finished.
Eat the remaining biscuits!!
