Story

You are a group of journalists for a wildlife magazine producing a special feature on Africa. Your aim is to find and get pictures of all of the animals your Editor has listed. To write up your story your Editor also wants other information and so has selected you all for your specialist knowledge.

Your group includes a Naturalist who will collect and observe the flora and fauna. Another one member should keep a log book to record all that goes on. Another is a navigator who should mark you route on the map and keep directions. A complete circle should be progressed. Another, is a meteorologist who should record the weather, formation of clouds etc.,

You may meet people around the plain who can help you in completing your task, but watch out for predators!

Follow the route on your map and keep an eye out for the animals on the list (you may not find them all in order). Watch out for further instructions along the route. Remove only enough for your group and were things are colour coded only take your groups colour.

Before starting on your journey you need to collect various bits of equipment. You need one bag between you all which should contain the following:

Triangular bandage for first aid
Paper and pens for recording
String
Penknife - if you have one.

In case you are killed or injured on your journey you need to make and identity disk each. Show this to the Editor (who is in charge of your camp) before you leave so that it will be recognised should anything happen to you.

Groups 2 and 3 given tasks to complete to stagger start time e.g. make animal trap from wood, begin leaf collection before they leave.
