  Mitchell was 19 years old when he passed away June 25,2008 and the oldest of my 3 Children. Mitchell had Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. MD is a muscle wasting disease that causes the muscles to slowly break down. He never lost his faith through it all.
 Hannah is my middle child. She is 16 years old. She is a big help around the house and helps out with her brothers.
 Now for my baby. Sean, like his big brother Mitchell, was also diagnosed with DMD in June of 1998. Sean is 13 years old and is no longer able to get around by walking. He now has a power wheelchair.
It has been rough for our family for the last 16 years and I supose the next years will be much of the same. We had an extra hard time when the Iraq war started, Dad was off in Iraq for a year leaving the kids and myself in our Gatesville, TX home. But with Gods help we made it through that to welcome dad back home safe and sound. And with Gods help we will not go through that again. |
