CORA LILLIAN HORNE
Mrs. Cora Lillian KENDALL widow of the late Mr. William Powell KENDALL a well known citizen of the county, died at the Ellen Fitzgerald hospital after an illness of sometime. She had just reached her 67th year. The funeral was held in the Waxhaw Methodist Church interment was in Matthew Cemetery. Mrs. KENDALL was a native of Anson County, being a member of the prominent HORNE family of that county. She lived in Monroe many years and was a sister of Mrs. J. D. McRAE and Mrs. Hattie McCALL. She is survived by 2 sons Mr. Joe KENDALL of Marshville and Mr. Tom KENDALL of Frederichsburg, Virginia and one daughter Mrs. Fred PLYLER of Marshville with whom she has lately made her home.
