JOE V. KENDALL
Joe Kendall 70 dies in Durham Hospital. Brother of Mrs. Fred Lee PLYLER of Marshville died in a Durham hospital Monday.
Funeral Services were held Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. in McEwen Chapel, Monroe. Rev. C. S. Albright pastor of Marshallville Presbyterian Church conducted service. Burial was in Matthews Cemetery.
Mr. Kendall was employed by Efirds in Charlotte and Raleigh for several years. Surviving are two daughters.

Joe V. Kendall died in Durham hospital at 10:00 a.m. Monday after a long illness. He was a son of the late William Powell and Cora Lillian Horne KENDALL of the county. He was employed by Efirds Department Store in Charlotte and Raleigh for a number of years.
The body is at McEwen Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements.
Surviving are 2 daughters: Mrs. Pete RITCH and Mrs. T. J. PETERSON both of Orlando, Florida; 2 grandchildren; one sister Mrs. Fred L PLYLER of Marshville.
