Caru's Santana is the first really nice breeding queen we bought.  She has been a delight from the first day we saw her, as anyone who knows us can tell.  Her pictures adorn credit cards, license plates and anything else we might find to place her mug.  She was born on 11/19/95.  Her sire is GRC Klinekatz City Slicker of Caru and her dam is Caru Black Mystique.

Santana was our learning experience, in a way.  Not realizing the importance of showing, we only entered her into one show, where the competition was really tough.  She was sold to us as a breeder, but would have been able to champion had we known more about the entire aspect of things. 

We spayed Santana with her last litter (March 30, 1999), it was time.  She blessed us again - with a little boy.  Watch out, maybe there is another Pio, although she was bred differently this time.
