This is Mopey (pronounced as Dopey, as in the seven dwarfs), our virtual fish. He resides in our computer. We feed him daily, play with him by clicking on the monitor and watch him swim around like any other fish. And yes, he is mortal. My husband got curious one day and decided to change the date on the computer to 3 months later....when we checked on the fish (this particular fish was not Mopey!) we found it floating on its back, at the top of the monitor! Ew!
