  1. Create a virtual notebook to use for class.

  1. Change background color (BGCOLOR) of notebook to white.


  2. Use the <BR> (line break) tag.


  3. Use the <P> (paragraph) tag.


  4. Use the <CENTER> tag.


  5. Use the <H1> tag to set a heading on the page.

  1. Create a second HTML document and name it.

  4. In second document, use FOUR tags from this lesson.

  5. Ordered List
  6. Link
  7. Bold
  8. Horizontal Rule

  9. Add a link to second page on first page.


  10. Add a link on second page back to first.


LESSON 2 -- Assignment 2

    Record the following in notebook:

  1. Answers to review questions at beginning of lesson.


  2. Were you able to create a template file? YES.
  3. Were you able to save it as HTML? YES.
  4. Did you begin notebook and perform exercises from Lesson 1? YES.

  5. Results to search for third type of list in HTML.


  6. Glossary List using <DL> </DL> tag
  7. Menu List using <MENU> </MENU> tag
  8. Directory List using <DIR> </DIR> tag

  9. Opinion of Cascading Style Sheets on web pages at this stage of implementation.
  10. With my very limited knowledge and understanding, my opinion is that at this stage I would probably not use the Cascading Style Sheet. I like the idea, but would wait until it is more universal widely accepted by browsers.

  11. A beginning list of online resources you have used and feel are especially useful.

  3. Locate at least one graphic on the web that is copyright free and use it in your notebook.


  4. On top of the table.

  5. Spend time in development of your web page ideas. If you do not have a topic, decide upon one.

IDEAS FOR MY PAGE:
I think I will try to create a webpage for one of our businesses, Family to Family. I'm not sure what I want to put on the page. I think a light background or textured, but nothing dark or heavy.

Or maybe, just maybe, I'll do a page of my own. The one I started the last time I took this class. Maybe both and link them all together! Can I get it all organized?
