A Story of Two Dogs

Merlin is a Norwegian Elkhound, born on Nov, 2 1999 in Oklahoma. He was sent to a pet store in Colorado Springs when he was about 6 weeks old. He weighs approximately 55 lbs. He is a neutered male.  He eats 3 cups of dog food once a day and he receives treats in the form of dog biscuits throughout the day. He likes to sleep by the air conditioning vents in the summer. He likes to play in the snow during the winter. He likes a lot of attention, especially when Conan is getting any attention. Merlin the Magician joined Betsy and Hazen's household in the year of 1999. One year after the arrival of Conan. He was brought home as a playmate for the energetic and playful Conan and he has served his purpose well. Merlin has always been  misunderstood and thought of as the wild and wily one of the group. He is actually quite loving and attentive. He can be intensely possessive and jealous but his heart is pure and his desire to please the family is paramount.

 
Spike is a Chorkie, which is a mixture of Chihauha and Yorkshire terrier. I'm not sure how much he weighs, probably around 5 lbs. Spike eats 3/4 to 1/2 cup food per day; he gets a mixture of wet and dry food.
-Enjoys biting and playing 'chase'
-Named after "Buffy the Vampire" character
-Gets his teeth brushed everyday
-Loves all people with great intensity
