Here's da Newest Mews!!

Early July Meowmie and Dad went on a short trip - they were gone for 5 days. Our Auntie Barb came and fed us and scooped each day. They went to visit dad's cousin and her husband in Colorado. They live in Denver, but have a little cabin 2 hours away up in the mountains. They all spent 4 days at the cabin together! Meowmie said there was no running water or electricity! Yipes! They showered in the woods with a solar bag hanging from an aspen tree. And there was something called an "outhouse". Kinda like our litter box I think :) They had a super time! Meowmie was surprised that she had so very much fun!

Dad just went on a big trip again. Mommie was supposed to go, but she didn't want to leave us for 3 whole weeks. So she backed out. Good thing dad is understanding (this was the true test, though!). He didn't even divorce her! Just found another trip that had one space left! A man was willing to share a cabin. Whew! Thank goodness. So, they got all their money back from the original trip planned, and dad went on this one. He left January 15th and was gone until February 2nd. He went on a ship nick-named "The Little Red Cork" to ANTARCTICA! Wow - lots of neat pictures of penguins. It was a great trip. But we're glad he's home again. Here are a few shots:
