LAKE WILSON

360 acres, the largest body of fresh water in Oahu. It supplies irrigation for agricultural fields and is used for year-round fishing.

WAHIAWA RAINFOREST BOTANICAL GARDEN

A 27 acre gulch with an elevation of 875 to 1000 feet.
In 1918 the Hawaii Sugar Planters Association used the site for forestry experiments and a nursery.
In 1950 it was turned over to the city and county of Honolulu.
It was developed into a botanical garden and opened to the public in 1957.
