I suppose at some point in our life, we all start to wonder who we really are, where we came from, and what our forebears must have been like. I am no exception.

History fascinates me. I have always had an affinity for old cemeteries with their impressive marble and granite tombstones and their elegant, often poignant, inscriptions.

Here you will find the research and documentation for part of my family lines. I have only just begun my genealogy research. It is a never ending puzzle with one thread leading to another...then another...and another.

All of these family lines started in the South; NC, GA, TN, AL, TX. A few continued westward to CA, and even to the far north of Alaska.
