ELIJAH B. STONE
Elijah served in the 10th Cavalry Regiment of the Illinois Volunteers, Company M. He volunteered for enlistment on 5 January 1864 and received a disability discharge for medical reasons on 10 February 1865.
This second photo is a copy of the original. Note the faded facial features in this one. The previous photo was enhanced by a photographer some years ago. However, this original photo shows, not only the uniform, but also the lower part cropped out in the above copy.
