Sadly, Haruna had to leave our family in May 2001, to return to her family in Japan. We keep in touch with her via email and she has just informed us that she has been accepted into the college of her choice. We wish her well and miss her very much.

***UPDATE*** Haruna came back to pay us a visit in the summer of 2003. She is much more mature and we had such a great time having her here with us for a few days. Haruna is still in college in Japan.
