A quote from clare about her initial thoughts in Urban Action North Manchester:
"Hi, for those that have not met me I’m Clare, the new youth worker at North Manchester Urban Action.  I will be working alongside Chris, since moving up here from Burton upon Trent which is in Staffordshire.  Since moving into the Harpurhey estate I have had very mixed emotions and many I’m not too proud of.  The feeling of loneliness has been the greatest and the most dominant emotion I strongly remember.  The insecurity of the Manchester estate also as it is a real culture shock from cosy little Burton.

Praise the Lord though, at least He knew what He was doing bringing me up here.  Manchester is really beginning to feel like home and even my family are beginning to like it up here.  Even though things are going better please remember me in your prayers."

Clare lives and works in North Manchester. She is a full time Youth Worker doing detatched work, street clubs, schools work etc in the areas of Harpurhey, Monsall & Collyhurst.
