Helen Green married Vincent Farrell in 1930 in Newton, Iowa. He died in 1964. Survivors include daughters, Mickey Davis and Judy Tubbs, both of Bettendorf; six grandchildren; including Tammy Vanhoosier, Bettendorf, with whom she resided; and sisters, Lila Landsiedel, Warrrensburg, Missouri; Mrs. George Swichart and Mrs. James Ross, both of Newton; and Lois Henton, Tucson. Ken Farrell, 58, was on a ladder trimming trees he he fell about 20 feet about 6 p.m. Wednesday. He was taken to Samaritan Hospital South, Clinton where he died of multiple chest wounds. Mr. Farrell died Wednesday at Samaritan South Hospital, Clinton after an accident at his home. He taught 35 years at Northeast High School where he coached 27 years. He married Patsey Clausen in 1958 in Delmar. He was graduate of the former St. Ambrose College, Davenport; and received a master's degree from the University of Iowa, Iowa City. He was a life member of National Education Association and a member of Northwest Community Teachers Association, Iowa State Education Association and Iowa Council of Teachers of English. He also was a member of the church and Goose Lake City Council for 20 years. He was a semi-professional baseball player and an avid Cardinals fan. Survivors include his wife; daughters, Karlen (Mrs. Kevin) Uhde, Jesup; and Carol (Mrs. John) Kerr, Bellingham, Wash.; two sons, Kevin, Davenport; and Brian, at home; five grandchildren; his mother, Marie Farrell, Delmar; sisters, Mary B.
