James Farrell Funeral services were held for James Fenton Farrell, who died Wednesday evening in Mercy Hospital, Clinton, were held at 9 a.m. Monday in St Patrick's church in Delmar. The Rev. H. M. Staunton celebrated the Requiem High Mass, which was sung by the senior choir. Joseph Powers sang the "Ave Maria" at the offertory. Miss Beatrice Powers was at the organ. Pallbearers were James McDermott, Harry McClimon, M. F. Waters, Richard Powers, William Shea and Frank McGarry of Villa Nova. Burial was at Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. James Farrell Mrs. Farrell 83, a resident at the Mt. Alverno home in Clinton, and who formerly resided at Delmar, died at 4 p. m. Friday in Jane Lamb hospital after along illness. The body is at the Hanrahan Funeral Home in De Witt where friends may call after 7 p. m. Friday. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a. m. Monday in St. Patrick's church at Delmar, burial will be there. Mrs. Farrell was born January 24, 1876 in Goose Lake, the daughter of Richard and Esther Farrell. She was a graduate of our Lady of Angels Academy, Clinton, and was married January 20, 1904 at Bryant, Ia. to James F. Farrell. Following the marriage the couple lived at Delmar. He died in 1936 and for the past ten years she made her home at Mt. Alverno. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John (Rosemary) Burke of Delmar; a sister, Sister Mary Alberta of Dubuque; three brothers, Richard Farrell of Preston, Thomas Farrell of Clinton, and John Farrell of Portland, Oregon; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Clinton Herald August 15, 1959 Farrell, Mrs. Esther Last rites for Esther Farrell, 83, of Delmar were conducted at 10:30 Monday in St. Patrick's Church, Delmar with the Hanrahan Funeral Home in charge. Rev John McGrath was in charge of the service and burial rites were in St. Patrick's cemetery.
