H. Reitz, 81, Died Jan. 26 Henry Reitz, 81, of Genoa, retired farmer and elevator operator, died January 26 in Memorial Hospital here. He was born March 15, 1892, at Rockport, Missouri. His parents were the late Mr. and Mr. John Reitz. On July 15, 1914, he married Elizabeth Kealy at St. Edward. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and Holy Name Society at Genoa. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons and nine daughters, William E. Reitz of Port Hueneme, California; John H. (Jack) Reitz, Mrs. Arnold (Ruth) Edwards, Mrs. Roger (Phyllis) Williams, Mrs. Jay (Mary) Sharp and Mrs. Earl (Kathryn) Barker, all of San Pedro, California; Mrs. Louis (Lillian) Mickey of San Jose, California; Mrs. Emil (Helen) Swantek of Genoa, Mrs. Irene Schrieber of Lincoln; Mrs. Robert (Claire) Korgie of Columbus and Mrs. August (Patricia) Wetovick Jr. of Fullerton; 41 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. John (Flora) Roach of St. Joseph, Missouri. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter Eleanor; six brothers, two sisters and three great-grandchildren. Reitz Died June 28 Mrs. Elizabeth Reitz, 86, of Genoa died June 28 in Memorial Hospital here where she had been receiving care. She was the mother of Mrs. August Wetovick Jr. of Fullerton and Mrs. Emil Swantek of Genoa. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday morning, at 10:30 o'clock, in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church at Genoa by Father John Rizzo. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery at Genoa. Retyped August 1998, Dennis Nicklaus. -------------------------------- William Kealy Rites in Council Bluffs William Edward Kealy, 75, of 2319 Avenue A, Council Bluffs, Ia., died Friday, Nov. 1st at Jennie Edmonson Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Albion, Nebraska, Dec. 31, 1892. He grew to manhood at St. Edward, having moved there with his family in 1894. He moved to Council Bluffs in 1914 after his first marriage to Irma Stephens, who passed away in 1927. He was also preceded in death by his parents, William H. and Maria J. Kealy, on son, Maron B., and a sister, Mary E. Cahill. He is survived by his widow Edna M., four daughters Mrs. E. C. (Mildred) Pabst, Mrs. Frank (Ruth) Forstek, both of Chicago, Illinois, Mrs. J. A. (Norma) Giovacchini of Sanger, California and Mrs. Dell (Marcella) Yochem of Council Bluffs; three sons, William E. Jr., and Paul Dean of Council Bluffs and Earl Patrick of Ralston, Nebraska; two sisters, Mrs. Fred (Ellen) Hirsch of Omaha, and Mrs. Henry (Elizabeth) Reitz, of Genoa, Nebraska; and one brother, George J. Kealy of Sutherland, Nebraska; 38 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Bill, as he was affectionately called, will be sadly missed by his family, and a host of friends. Requiem Mass was celebrated on Monday, Nov. 4th, at 9:30 a.m. from Holy Family Church in Council Bluffs, with the very Rev. Msgr. Alber Davidsaver celebrant. He passed away at an Omaha hospital November 27, 1965 at the age of 55. Rosary was recited at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 1965 at the Levander Funeral Home. Gerald, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hirsch was born in St. Edward, Nebraska, on July 9, 1910. He was united in marriage to Eileen Cavanaugh on September 28, 1940, and to this union one daughter, Ellen Louise, was born. He was an employee of the REA for 25 years. He is survived by his wife, Eileen; daughter Ellen; his mother, Mrs. Ellen Hirsch of Omaha; two brothers, Vernon of Spring Valley, California and Dean of Fremont, Nebraska; and six sisters, Mrs. Paul Nelson (Jean) of Omaha, Mrs. Don Armes (Marcella) of Harbor City, California, Mrs. Blaine Webster (Genevieve) of Cedar Rapids, Nebraska, Mrs. Verne Reynoldson (Mary) of O'Neill, Nebraska, Mrs. Benny Goodman (Bette) of Santa Ana, California and Mrs. Bob Bartlett (Patti) of Garden Grove, California; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Fred Hirsch in 1953 and a brother, Donald in 1945.
