Frank Beaulieu Buried Monday -------- Frank Beaulieu, one of the foremost citizens of this community, passed away at his home on Friday morning, October 7, after an illness of several months. Mr. Beaulieu was a sturdy and aggressive man but the infirmities of advancing age conquered and the end of his earthly career came peacefully. He was born in Montreal, Canada, on October 2, 1850, and was therefore a few days over 82 at the time of his death. In 1869 he moved to Iowa, where on October 23, 1871, he married Miss Elizabeth Lawler in Clinton. They continued their residence in that state until 1903 when they moved to Graceville in order that Mr. Beaulieu might better look after his land holdings and other business interests. Funeral services were held at the Holy Rosary church on Monday morning at 10 o'clock with Rev. R.G. King officiating and interment made in the family lot at Lakeside cemetery. Pallbearers were: J.A. McRae, Thos. Peyton, Geo. Studdart, Max Winters, J.P. Trainor and P.E. Broderick. The relatives who survive his passing are: his wife, Elizabeth Beaulieu, one daughter, Sister Rosella Marie of Minneapolis and five sons namely: L.N. Beaulieu and L.V. Beaulieu of Los Angeles, Calif.; P. D. Beaulieu of Austin, Minn.; and T. J. and E. A. Beaulieu of Graceville. As a citizen of this community Mr. Beaulieu was honored and respected by all and they extend their sincere sympathy to Mrs. Beaulieu and the children.
