Clem Lawlor, 67, of rural DeWitt died about 8:40 p.m. Monday at the DeWitt
hospital shortly after being admitted.

Funeral services will b eheld at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Anne's Catholic
church in Welton with Rev. Lawrence Mork officiating. Buraial will be in
St. Joseph's cemetery in DeWitt.

Friends may call at the Hanrahan funeral home in DeWitt after 2 p.m. Wednesday
where a parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.

Clem Lawlor was born Nov. 23, 1900 in Washington township to Thomas and Mary
Kingsley Lawlor. He farmed all his life on the farm north of DeWitt where he
was born.  He married Nellie Crowley on Oct. 21, 1941 at DeWitt.

Survivors include his wife, and two sisters, Mrs. Thomas McDonald of Preston
and Mrs. Angela Dolan of East Moline
