Edward Lawlor Funeral Conducted Saturday Morning

Edward P. Lawlor, 64, passed away in his home on August 1.  Funeral
services were conducted Saturday. A prayer service in Hanrahan Funeral
Home was followed by services in St. Ann's church, Welton. Rev. John
Schmitz officiated.

Burial was in St. Joseph's cemetery, DeWitt.  Pallbearers were Oswald
Bathalter, Edward Remery, Charles Hunter, Earl Hynes, William Doland
and William Reed Jr.

Mr. Lawlor was born October 19, 1897.  He had farmed north of DeWitt
until his death. He was the son of Thomas and Mary Kingsley Lawlor and
was a member of DeWitt K. of C. Lodge.

Survigin are two sisters, Mrs. Frank Doer of east Moline, Ill. and Mrs. Thomas McDonald of Preston and a brother Clem, of DeWitt.
