John D. Lawlor

John D. Lawlor, 88, of Davenport, formerly of DeWitt, died Sept. 30 at Kahl
Home, Davenport.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 3, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
Burial was  in Immaculate  Conception Cemetery, Petersville.  Halligan McCabe
Funeral Home, Davenport, was in charge of arrangements.  John Lawlor was born
Oct. 2, 1906, in DeWitt to Daniel F.  and Sarah Elizabeth McGinty Lawlor.  He
was a  member of St.  Anthony's  Catholic Church and the  Knights of Columbus
532 in Davenport. He was a World War II Army veteran and had been in the Army
Signal Corps.

He enjoyed gardening, working in his yard and reading.

Survivors include several cousins.
