HASTINGS -- Planning to be married Dec. 13, 2003, at the French
Memorial Chapel on the Hastings College campus are Marcy Foote of
Hastings and James Sorgenfrei of Doniphan.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Dr. Terence and Janel Foote of
Hastings. The prospective groom's parents are Deryl and Jo Ann
Sorgenfrei of Doniphan.

Miss Foote is a 1997 graduate of Hastings High School and plans a
Dec. 15 graduation from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is
currently student teaching fourth grade at Longfellow Elementary
School in Hastings.

Sorgenfrei graduated from Doniphan High School in 1993 and is a 1998
graduate of the UNL College of Engineering. He is a civil engineer
employed by Geotechnical Services, Inc. in Grand Island
