Donald Lawler Funeral services for Donald Lawler of Omaha will be held Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at the St. Joan of Arc Church in Omaha with burial in the Calvary Cemeterey in Omaha. Visitation is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Heafey-Heafey-Hoffmann-Dworak-Cutler's Westcenter Chapel. There is a wake service at 7 p.m. at the chapel. Lawler, 71, who was born in Westside, died Sunday in Omaha. He is survived by two daughters, Barbara Rudeen and Patricia Olsen of Omaha; two grandchildren; and two brothers, William Lawler and Fenton Lawler of Westside. The Rev. Father Daniel McNamara officiated at the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Holland of Denison and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lawler of Westside. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a ballerina length gown of white nylon net over satin with a Chantilly lace jacket. Her fingertip veil was held by a lace juliet cap decorated with seed pearls. She carried a white prayer book with a purple orchid and stephanitis. Mrs. Ray Hollander served her niece as matron of hnoor. Her gown of ballerina length was of shrimp nylon nett oover taffeta. She carried garlands of French multi-colored flowers attached to a matching fan. Jean Holland, sister of the bride and Mary Francis Lawler, sister of the bridegroom were bridesmaids. They wore wedgewood blue and yellow ballerina length gowns of nylon net over taffeta. They also carried French flowers attached to fans. William Lawler, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man. Ushers were Eugene Hollahran and Ray Hollander. Doyle and Dale Holland, brothers of the bride, were the bridesmaids attendants. A wedding breakfast was held in the House and Garden Room of the Blackstone Hotel followed by a reception at the Elks Hotel.
