In 1948 he retired from the farming business and moved to Benkelman where he lived the remainder of his days. Mrs. O'Leary was the eldest daughter of Michael J. Burns who preceded her to the world beyond only a few days previously. Besides the husband and six little children, she leaves to mourn her loss two brothers and one sister. She was a noble and splendid woman, loved by all who knew her and was most worthy of the high esteem in which she was held. The sorrowing ones whom she leaves behind have the keenest sympathy of all in their very great loss and bereavement.
