Last rites held for Ambrose Lawer Ambrose Lawler, 73, of Breda, passed away August 15 in the morning at St. Anthony Hospital at Carroll. He was born November 11, 1889 in Crawford County where he had lived as a farmer all of his life. His father was John Lawler and mother, Brigette McCarthy. Rosary was read at the Farber and Otteman Funeral Home on Thursday and Friday evenings at 8 p.m. Funeral services were held Saturday morning, August 18 at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church here. Burial was at St. Joseph's Cemetery with Farber and Otteman in charge of arrangements. Mr. Lawler is survived by his wife Andella, and one son John of Breda. Pallbearers were Wilfred Launderville, James Launderville, Charles Launderville, Lee Launderville, Kenneth Rowan and Thomas Minnihan. Mrs. Lawler is survived by a son John of Breda, a daughter Mrs. Jerry (Kathleen) Marrs of Naperville, Ill, sisters Marguerite (Mrs. Wm. Launderville) of Vail and Loretta (Mrs. Ed Minnihan) of Jefferson, and three brothers Clarence and Joseph of Breda and Vincent of Wall Lake. She was preceded in death by her husband Ambrose, who passed away in 1962 and 5 brothers, Thomas J., Thommy, Leo, James and Frank and a sister Marie.
