DE WITT HARRY A. FLETCHER Harry A. Fletcher, 66, of Lakeside, Ariz., retired De Witt and Lowden auto mechanic, died at 3:15 p.m. Sunday in a Phoenix hospital. Arrangements are pending in the McGinnis funeral home, De Witt. Mr. Fletcher, was born April 1, 1902 to John and Neali Bragonier Fletcher of Princeton. He married Mary McDevitt in December 1949 at DeWitt. The couple lived in Lowden before moving to Arizona 10 years ago. Surviving are his wife; a son Vernon of DeWitt; two daughters, Mrs. Ray (Verla) Vens of Clinton and Mrs. Al (Marjorie) Christopherson of Clarence; 22 grandchildren and two brothers, Earl of Arkansas and Mervin of Clinton. A daughter and the parents preceded him in death. Pallbearers will be Edward Slamer, Harry Hamdorf, Frank Moestaert, Lloyd Raesger, Clarence Fatchett and Donald Oesterborg. Mr. Fletcher was born April 1, 1902 at Princeton to John and Neali Bragonier Fletcher. He and Mary McDevitt were married in DeWitt in 1949. Surviving are his wife; one son, Vernon of DeWitt; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond Vens of Clinton and Mrs. Al Christopherson of Clarence; 22 grandchildren and two brothers, Mervin of Clinton and Earl of Arkansas. I believe the 14th was the death date, not the publication date. The article does repeat he paragraphs about his parents and survivors.
