Clarice Goodall 1929 - 2008 Clarice A. Goodall, 78, of Delmar, Iowa, died Saturday, January 19, 2008, at Genesis Medical Center East Campus in Davenport, following a lengthy illness. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2008, at 10:30 a.m at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Delmar, with the Rev. David Brownfield officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Delmar. Family and friends may call today 2 to 7 p.m. at Lahey Funeral Home in Maquoketa, where a vigil service will be held at 5 p.m. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Clarice Ann Hahn was born August 3, 1929, in rural Clinton County, Iowa, the daughter of Harry F. and Ursula (Kaeferstein) Hahn. She married Charles W. Goodall on September 27, 1952, at St. Phillips and James Church in Grand Mound, Iowa. He preceded her in death on November 14, 1987. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society, the "Over 60" Club, and Homemakers, and was an administrative assistant to ORA of Davenport in DeWitt. Clarice enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and family gatherings. She is survived by her sons and daughters, Michael (Mary) Goodall, DeWitt, Gary Goodall, College Station, Texas, Douglas (Sue) Goodall, Delmar, Annette (Bill) Sikkema, Clinton, Patrick Goodall, Champlin, Minnesota, and Marianne (Dan) Cereda, Brentwood, California; 12 grandchildren, Kathleen and Brock Goodall, Ann Goodall-Lapham, Becca Goodall, Cory, Christopher and Nicole Goodall, Drew, Eric and Alyssa Sikkema, and Sarah and Michelle Cereda; six sisters, Sister M. Dolores Hahn, BVM, Dubuque, Mary (Wayne) Harksen, Camanche, Monica (Howard) Green, Grand Mound, Bernadette (Joe) Wisor, Camanche, Madonna (Bill) Glasz, Hendersen, Nevada, and Dorothy (John) Enright, Goose Creek, South Carolina; three brothers, Vincent (Regina) Hahn, Grand Mound, George (Joan) Hahn, Vinton, and Donald (Bonnie) Hahn, Charlotte; a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Hahn, Grand Mound; a brother-in-law, George Claeys, Eldridge; and two aunts, Sr. M. Vincentia Kaeferstein, BVM, Dubuque, and Margaret Staats, Peoria, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles, a sister, Rita Claeys, a brother, James Hahn, and a daughter-in-law, Deb Goodall. Memorials may be given to St. Patrick's Church in Delmar, Prince of Peace Catholic School in Clinton, St. Joseph's School in DeWitt or St. Phillips and James Church in Grand Mound.
