Hazel Hanson Passed Away April 12

Hazel Florence Hanson, 87, of Marcus died Monday, April 12, 1993, at
Sioux Valley Memorial Hospital in Cherokee.

Mrs. Hanson, the former Hazel Heinrich, was born April 12, 1906 at
Grundy Center, Iowa. She was the daughter of Arthur and Daisy (Baker)
Heinrich. She attended school at New Hall and at Estherville, Iowa,
where the family moved in 1920.  She married William John Hanson. He
died in the late 1970s's.  She lived during her married life in Cedar
Rapids, Iowa; where she worked as a medical secretary and later as the
manager of a credit union.  She was a Presbyterian.  She lived the
last eleven years in Marcus with her sister.

Survivors are her sister, Mrs. Howard (Floy) Johnson of Marcus, and
several nieces and nephews.

Services and burial will be held at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Cedar
Rapids on Friday , April 23.
