In the Name of God Amen I Patrick Lawlor of Westside Township Crawford County Iowa being of sound mind and memory do hereby make publish and declare this to be my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made. First I order and direct my executors as soon after my decease as practicable to pay off and discharge all the debts dues and liabilities that may exist against me at the time of my decease. Second I give and bequeath unto my wife Margaret Lawler Fifty ($50.00) Dollars a year, the gross of our crop remaining the feed of our crop grown on the place now occupied by us as a farm house and have estrad?? the use of our half the house I now dwell in . Two fat pigs and our half (1/2) of all chickens now on the farm above described as now occupied by me. Third I give and bequeath unto my son Simon Lawlor One Hundred Dollars. Fourth I give and bequeath unto my son William V. Lawlor One Hundred Dollars. Fifth I give and bequeath unto my son Edward Lawlor the North East Quarter (N.E. 1/4) of the south West Quarter (S.W.1/4) and the West One Half of the South West Quarter (S.W.1/4)of section Twenty Nine (29) Township Eighty Four (84) Range Thirty Seven (37) west of the Fifth Principal Meridian in Crawford County State of Iowa except four and one half acres out of the South West corner of said West half of South west Quarter. These four and one half acres having been deeded by Henry Bairly and Mary A. His wife to Rt. Revd. John Hennessey Bishop of Dubuque for the use of a Catholic burying ground. Subject however to the previous conditions made and provided for in this will and also to all liens mortgages and claims that may now be in existence against the above described premises or that may in the future and before my death come unto existence. Sixth I further give and bequeath unto my wife Margaret Lawler all the bedding utensils and personal household property that I have been using while occupying the house on the above described premises Seventh I give and bequeath unto my son Edward Lawlor all live stock vehicles and farming implements used by me previous to my death subjected to all debts that may at the time of my death be owing by me. There is not a Catholic cemetery at this location.
