DeWitt Frank J. McGarry Frank J. McGarry,76, DeWitt farmer, died about 4 p. m. Thursday in the DeWitt community hospital after a long illness. The body is in the Hanrahan funeral home, where friends may call after 7 tonight. The body will be in the funeral home until Sunday afternoon when it will be removed to the family residence until the funeral hour. The service will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday in St. Patrick's church, Villa Nova, with burial in St. Patrick's cemetery. Mr. McGarry, son of late John J. and Mary Lawlor McGarry was born Sept. 18, 1876 in Washington township, Clinton county. He has lived his entire life in this area, farming in partnership with his brother, Leo. He was educated in the local schools and attended St. Ambrose college, Davenport. Surviving are three sisters: Mrs. J. R. Kane, Mrs. William J. Spain, both of Charlotte, and Mrs. Anthony McCoy, DeWitt; two brothers: John and Leo, both of DeWitt, and a number of nieces and nephews.
