That the fees of the executor is by law 5% of the amount of the estate $381.98 the sum of $19.10. That in truth & in fact he has only received the sum of and for which he receipts in full $6.54. [received 1996 from Amy Lynne Hanson Stewart] I hereby declare the following to be my last will & request John Cranny to execute the same. I leave to Simon Lawlor my stripper cow. To Ed Lawlor my young cow. I leave three towels to Mrs. Tom Dowling. I leave my cloak to Mrs. Tom Dunn. I leave my wrap to Mrs. Joseph Kerrigan. I leave all other things of mine in the house where I now live to Ed Lawlor & wife. All the money in the hands of John Cranny & all the money that may come into his hands for me to be used in paying my funeral expenses, and the expense of Lock McCarty in going with my funeral to Villa Nova & also for his return car fare also to pay my just debts.
