John J. Reynolds

John J. Reynolds, 65, of Monmouth, Illinois, formerly of Charlotte,
died at his home Sunday in Mercy Hospital, Clinton after a long
illness.

Visitation was at Hanrahan Funeral Home in DeWitt. Funeral was held
Tuesday morning in Assumption Catholic Church, Charlotte with
Rev. Lawrence Soens officiating.  Burial was in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Tim Motroni, Mark Mallicoat, Vic Falls, Vern Cady,
Joe Brown and Jerry Heiar.

Mr. Reynolds was born at Petersville July 22, 1912 to John and
Margaret Monahan Reynolds. He and Rita Cane were married April 18,
1936. He had been employed as a field engineer with International
Harvester Company in Moline.

Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Patricia)
Petersen of Huntington Beach, California, Mrs. Thomas (Marianne)
Brugman of Stevensville, Michigan and Debi Reynolds of Macomb,
Illinois; a son, Robert, of Charlotte; seven grandchildren and three
sisters, Mrs. Ted Johnson of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Louis Schreiner and
Mrs. Roy Hune, both of Clinton.
