Frances Lucey The bans were announced Sunday for the approaching marriage of Robert Hamill and Miss Frances Lucey. Miss Lucey is a niece of E. J. Lucey and resides at Boone. Mr. Hamill is one of the efficient typers in the Sentinel office, with which he has been associated for a number of years. The ceremony will take place at Boone, Wednesday, November 4. Hamill of Carroll and Miss Frances Lucey were married at the Catholic church, Wednesday morning. They will live at Carroll. Boone County Democrat Friday, November 6, 1896 Mrs. Dennis Lucey Mrs. Dennis Lucey died at the family home residence in this city on Tuesday at noon. Her little child, some 4 weeks of age is living. Last week they buried a bright little boy of seven years and now the mother has gone to join him in the land of the hereafter. There is much public sympathy for the afflicted father and family. Welsh- Lucey A wedding of interest to Boone people took place at Carroll on Wednesday morning of this week. the parties were Miss Mary Lucey and Mr. David Welsh. They were married in St. Joseph's church at 7:30, Father Farrelly officiating. Dr. M. A. Healy of this city was best man and Miss Bertha Hamill of Carroll bridesmaid. Following the ceremony the bridal party repaired to the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. Robert Hamill, where an elaborate breakfast was served. They came to Boone that day and have gone to live on the groom's farm in Harrison Township near Mackey. The groom is one of Boone's leading farmers and a young man of excellent character. His bride is one of Boone's charming young ladies who has lived here all her life. The happy couple have the congratulations of a wide circle of acquaintances and friends.
