A memorial service will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 1997, in
People's Church in Vancouver, Wash., for Sarah A. Baird, who died
April 20, at age 86.

Mrs. Baird was born Oct. 11, 1910, in Woodland, Wash. She lived in
Klamath Falls from 1946 to 1968, and lived in the Clark-Cowlitz
counties area for 64 years. Her husband, Goldie, died in 1968. She was
a senior's companion for many years.

Survivors include her son, Arthur C. Beagle of Vancouver; daughters,
JoElla Graber of Vancouver, Mary Lou Richardson and Margaret Ann
Spreng, both of Cave Junction, and Myrna Mason of Nyssa; sister, Ruth
Rains of Vancouver; 19 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and nine
great-great-grandchildren.

Interment will be in Gardner Cemetery in Woodland. Arrangements are by
Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel.
