DEATH: FREDA FOSTER Freda Ann Lyke Foster, age 75, died December 23, 1990 in Sandy. Born February 17, 1915 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, a daughter of Samuel Ellis and Myrtle Elma Skiles Lyke. Married Robert Hugh Foster January 10, 1934, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma; marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Active member of the LDS Church. Organist in Bartlesville, Oklahoma Branch for 15 years. Held many positions in the church while living in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. Survived by husband, West Jordan; daughter, Mrs. William J. (Roberta) Potter, Kearns; two grandchildren, Wayne Potter, West Valley City; Beverly Stauffer, Salt Lake City; three great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Lyke, Burden, Kansas. Foster 12/18/1911~11/19/2007 Robert Hugh Foster, 95, passed away Mon., November 19, 2007, in Salt Lake City. He was born in Bartlesville, OK, on December 18, 1911 to John Wesley Foster and Clara Belle McNamara. He married Freda Lyke, and together they had one daughter, Roberta Ann Potter. He enjoyed working in the transportation business, and had a key role in Project Navajo, which gave food and clothing to needy people in the 4-Corners area, and even after retiring, he worked at the Salt Lake City airport visitor's center. He loved helping, and making people laugh. Preceded in death by his wife and daughter. Survived by two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and best friend Ruth Ritter.
