William Grant Reveal, 74 years old, died at the residence, 309 South
Seventeenth Street, at 2:20 o'clock Monday morning. He is survived by
the widow, Anna; one daughter, Ruth Reveal Barton; three brothers,
Benjamin M., Carl A., and John G. Reveal; one sister, Miss Margaret
Belle Reveal, all of Terre Haute; three grandchildren, as well as
several nieces and nephews. The body was taken to the Gillis Memory
Chapel and was returned to the residence at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon
from where funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday
afternoon. Burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery.

Ruth R. Barton

Ruth R. Barton, 87, of Terre Haute died at 6 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 1996,
in Southwood Health Care Center. She was born April 27, 1909, in Terre
Haute to William Reveal and Anna Billman Reveal. Her husband, Harry M.
Barton, died March 26, 1984. Survivors include one daughter, Carol Weir;
four sons, Jeff Barton, H. Robert Barton, Kenneth Barton and Timothy
Barton; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Services are 10:30
a.m. Wednesday in The Callahan Funeral Home, with the Rev. Paul Kern
officiating. Burial is in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 8
p.m. today.
