Services will be private for James L. Weeks, 88, a mechanical engineer
for Chicago's water pumping stations for 42 years. Mr. Weeks, a
longtime resident of the North Side, died Friday in Northwestern
Memorial Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Maud; a daughter, Mary
Ann Fick; a son, Curtis; four grandchildren; and two great
grandchildren.

81, of Buffalo Grove, formerly of Morton Grove, will be held at 10
a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd,
Prospect Heights.

He was born March 31, 1915.

Interment will be in Mount Emblem Cemetery. He died Saturday, Aug. 24,
at Lutheran General Hospital.

Mr. Weeks was a retired automobile accountant.

Survivors include his wife, Edna (nee Wilson); his son, Thomas (Kathy)
Weeks; his daughter, Linda (Jerry) Gallo; his brother, James (Anna
Mae) Weeks, and his grandchildren, Tracy, Christopher, Jeff, and Susan
Gallo, Darrick and Todd Weeks, Kris and Kristen Chamley.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26, at Kolssak
Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave., Wheeling, and from 9 a.m. until
the time of services at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, at the church.

Memorials may be made to the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Prospect Heights.
