DELIA MORISON DIES IN LEBANON
 LEBANON-Delia Morison, 88,
resident of Mary Ellen nursing
home, died at the home Wednesday
evening following a long illness.
 She was born July 26, 1877 in
Scribner, Neb., and moved to
Independence, Ore., in 1912 from
there, where she lived until
1958.  She had lived in Lebanon
for the past seven years.
 Mrs. Morison was a member of the
Salem First Baptist church.
 She is survived by a son, Carl
of Lebanon; by three
grandchildren, and three great
grandchildren.
 Funeral services will be held
Monday at 2 p.m. at the Parmenter
Funeral home in Independence,
with Lost Funeral home of Lebanon
in charge of arrangements.  Rev.
Joe Wiens, Lebanon First Baptist
church, will officiate.  Burial
will be at Monmouth cemetery.

CARL MORRISON
 Funeral for Carl L. Morrison,
73, of 38334 River Drive who died
last Wednesday at a local nursing
home, was Saturday at Jost
Funeral Home with the Rev. H.
Robert Ellisen officiating.
Private burial followed at the
IOOF Cemetery.
 Born Jan. 31, 1904, in Pedee, he
lived in Independence and Salem
areas for coming to Lebanon in
1956.  He had farmed and worked
in the real estate business.
 He married Viola Detlefs on June
15, 1932, in Independence.  She
survives.
 Other survivors are two
daughters, Reta Colyer of Brooks
and Debra Logue of Lebanon; a
son, Carl of Lebanon; six
grandchildren and two great
grandchildren.
